Terms of service

Please read these terms in full before ordering any type of character or art from me! These count for characters made by me that you obtain in trades, as well. I periodically check up on my characters and art through Toyhouse; I will sooner or later see if you break any of the rules.

NOTE: as of 6 / 18 / 2020, "I don't know" is not an excuse. I'll be posting this on Toyhouse, all of my future designs, and on every post on deviantart.

tos for my designs [ customs, adopts ]

1. All of the art terms apply down here too.

2. Please do not order a custom from me or obtain a design by me if you do not have a Toyhouse account. They're easy to obtain, and I wish to keep all of my designs in one place.

3. Please always make sure my designs are never hidden from me on Toyhouse!

4. For customs, please ask for WIPs if you want them! I don't really give them otherwise.

5. I'll never redo a design for free; you would have had ample chances to let me know what changes you want.

6. Please do not make extensive changes to any designs, whether it be customs or adoptables! Slight palette changes and marking addons / take-aways are fine, and you can change the species/gender to anything you want. Just please keep the markings themselves recognizable.

7. I can provide blank reference sheets so you can add your own info, just ask!

8. Unless you have PAID for artwork of the design, you may not sell for more than you bought it for [ if applicable]. Things that do not count towards worth: personal art, trades, gifts

9. Any rejected designs during a custom-making process belong to me, and I reserve the right to retrade/rework/resell them. However, I won't do this if the final is too close to the rejected version.

tos for my art [ comms, trades, etc ]

1. You may not use artwork of any character that does not belong to you.

2. I retain rights to the artwork. You may not add your own rules / TOS to it.

3. For commissions/trades/gifts, you can use the art however you like, but please credit me if using as icons / anything that hides the watermark.

4. You may NEVER edit the artwork (adding textures/overlays to make it more aesthetically pleasing for your profile or whatever is fine, just don't upload that version to Toyhouse please!)

5. Please do not reupload my artwork anywhere (not counting icons/page decoration/Toyhouse, obviously).

6. Please do not start asking for updates until 3 weeks have passed! I more often than not have other things to do, or lose motivation for awhile.

7. YOU are responsible for updating me if a character is to be changed.

8. I have full rights to all artwork I create. However, I'd only reuse artwork that doesn't feature my characters if it's for advertisement purposes.

9. I'll never redo artwork after completion! You had a chance to ask for updates and changes along the way; if you end up not happy after all, I can't help that.

10. NEVER tamper with or remove my watermark.

11. Please DO NOT put your own watermarks over my artwork unless it's on Toyhouse!

refund policy

I will not issue refunds unless it is on my terms. I realize that this could be problematic to some people, I understand. That being said, please do not commission me if you think you would for any reason need a refund! If you for any reason charge me back, it'll cause a mess neither of us wants, so please just respect this rule.
